Dogtrot Advisors + Accounting ("Dogtrot," "we," or "us") provides small business advisory and accounting services. This policy explains what information we collect through dogtrotadvisors.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email greg@dogtrotadvisors.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, where you are in your business journey, and your message. When you complete our client intake form, we also collect details such as your phone number, business name, type, and location, and general business information like revenue or startup budget ranges, funding needs, number of employees, accounting software, and goals. We also receive whatever you share with us by email, phone, or video call.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, and understand overall visitor trends.
Please don't send sensitive data through the website. We never ask for Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers, or passwords through our forms. If we need sensitive records to provide services, we'll arrange a secure way to share them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
